This website is a pretty good website.There are many information about apprentices.In this website it told us that every artist is began in apprentices to learn craft from their masters.If they try to do the art that is great.They might be famous and become masters and open their own workshops.
Many parents would send their sons to the workshops to learn some art and help with their masters.
Apprentices first would do some easy job like mixing color or prepare the tools to paint...
I think to be a apprentice is very difficult and busy.Now,parents sent their children to school study different knowledge.If I was in the past.I might be crazy to help the masters to do some small things.Now I need to learn more and study more.This is the way to be more easier to success.

This website is about the Verrochio's apprenticeships and workshops.He is the head of the important workshops.The illegitimate son is the one who was received by others that he had a good education from Verrocchio.He has many students and worked with other young artist.
I think if people want to have their own workshop is very uneasy.Our ownself need to have great skill of paunting and need to have own patient to learn.Now, there are seldom workshops.Everyone is studying in school,but same we need to work hard as the people before to have a nice life.
